- By applying for the Make It Digital Award you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
- DigitalNZ and the National Library of New Zealand (the Library) reserve the right to cancel or amend the Award and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions, conduct, results and all other matters relating to an Award, the decision of the DigitalNZ and the Library shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
Award Entry Requirements
- Employees of DigitalNZ or the Library are not eligible to enter the Award. DigitalNZ and the Library reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
- To qualify to enter the Award your organisation must be a New Zealand legal entity. Individuals are not eligible to enter.
- By entering the Award, you hereby confirm that all information submitted is true, current and complete.
- DigitalNZ and the Library reserve the right to disqualify any entry if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
- In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Award, DigitalNZ and the Library in its sole discretion may decide whether a replacement should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Award Application Process
- Award entries must be made in the manner and by the closing date specified (
1 February 2010 extended to Friday March 5 2010). Failure to do so may be grounds for disqualification.
- DigitalNZ and the Library cannot accept responsibility for any entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
- The Award is non-transferable.
- DigitalNZ and the Library reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Award if the Award is not capable of running as planned,
- To the full extent permitted by law, DigitalNZ and the Library will not be liable to the winner in respect of any claim for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever in connection with the Award or by reason of the utilisation or application of any prize won in the Award.
- DigitalNZ and the Library respects privacy rights under the Privacy Act 1993 and is required to comply with the privacy principles in respect of the collection of personal information from individuals.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
