Put Maori Land Court minutes on line, they are probably NZs finest record of oral history. There is some angst relating to having them digitised, the argument being related to privacy issues. Considering that they are available at a number of different agencies that particular argument is null and void.

While privacy is an issue for some, I think there are many cultural factors as well, whakapapa and the inherent tapu being the foremost, but also descriptions of family and individual disputes etc.
That all being said, I am sure that one day they will find themselves online, if not from the Maori Land Court itself, then through other means (such as Tribal Archives?).
